Financial Help for Young Adults with Disabilities – Virtual

WHAT: If you’re living on a low income and have a child with significant disabilities, your child may be eligible to receive monthly payments through Supplemental Security Income (SSI). The application process can be complicated and difficult, but Northwest Access Fund’s Certified Benefits Planners are here to explain the process and answer your questions – whether you’re a parent applying for the first time or a young person turning 18 and re-applying as an adult.
At this monthly class, you can get tips and strategies for young people who are turning 18 and transitioning onto SSI as an adult. Get your questions answered and leave with a clear idea of the next steps to take. Individualized support is available for participants who have taken a class.
Northwest Access Fund also provides monthly SSI classes for the parents of children under 18.
