Swim Lesson Scholarship Open House

Interested in Swim Lessons at Seattle Parks & Recreation pools?
Please join us at Rainier Beach Community Center on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024 from 9 am- 12 pm to get ready to swim! This is a scholarship application event hosted by Swim Seattle, an initiative of Seattle Parks & Recreation, and co-sponsored by Community Health Plan of Washington. At this “Open House” style event, you can drop in any time to:
- Get in-person support to apply for scholarships*
- Learn how to get an ActiveNet account and navigate swim lesson registration
- Receive FREE swim gear (goggles, caps, life jackets, while supplies last)
- See the Rainier Beach Pool and facilities**
- Learn about other Swim Seattle and community offerings
- Enjoy FREE DONUTS and PASTRIES!
* What to bring: Please bring proof of income, like your 1040 tax form from last year. If you do not have your 1040 form, see other documents we accept here. We will have limited devices available. If you have one, please bring your smartphone, tablet or laptop.
** This is not an event in the pool, so there’s no need to bring a swim suit!
