This year for Giving Tuesday, I wanted to share about an organization I am passionate about. Crisis Connections is a Seattle based non-profit with free helplines that serve King County and Washington State residents.
Much of the work carried out by Crisis Connections staff and volunteers focuses on suicide prevention and mental health support, peer counseling, and access to resources for food, shelter, and medical care.
It is a wonderful organization that saves countless lives across Washington, improves community well-being, and helps people become resilient through its eight crisis and resource helplines which are accessed over 600,000 times annually.
I feel deeply about this mission and organization because […].
Crisis Connections is working to raise vital funds and recruit new volunteers to ensure every person who reaches out in 2025 is helped by a reliable, compassionate, and knowledgeable person.
Right now, every donation made will be matched! And an additional $500 gift will be made for each person who registers as a monthly donor. Will you join me in supporting this wonderful cause?
People never imagine needing to call a crisis line – but when you’re faced with overwhelming challenges, Crisis Connections is there with no judgement. Their help lines such as 988, 211, the Washington Recovery Help Line, and Teen Link provide hope, help, and healing to countless individuals.
I’ve decided to become a Crisis Connections Champion and am committed to raising awareness because the programs provide needed mental health relief and critical resource connection for thousands in our community. Please consider supporting me and the people who need the help of Crisis Connections’ programs by donating today.
