People call the Hotline when they have experienced or witnessed hate crimes or bias incidents, including:
- Racial, ethnic, or immigration-related slurs
- Harm based on perception of:
- Race
- Color
- Religion
- Sexual orientation
- Disability
- Gender identity
- Nationality
- Graffiti
- Acts of violence
