How it works

Airbnb.org partners with local organizations before disaster strikes, so housing support is available quickly. Washington 211 is identifying residents in need of temporary housing and referring them to Airbnb.org, which provides credits to book a nearby Airbnb stay that meets their needs—often close to their workplaces, schools, or support networks.

Temporary housing is available to residents in the following counties and tribal communities who are displaced by wildfires:

• Spokane, Stevens, Chelan, Okanogan, Yakima and Ferry counties
• Spokane, Colville and Yakima tribal communities

To determine eligibility, displaced residents should call 211 between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm Pacific Time. A specialist will provide personalized support throughout the referral process.
